This group aims to support young girls, ages 11 - 15, in developing healthy body image and positive self-esteem. This group will also cover other critical topics for young girls such as social media literacy, body consent, and healthy relationships.
This group integrates practical tools from neuroscience, psychology, and movement science to clients build skills for mindful eating, emotional resilience, and body acceptance. This group s evidence-based and aims to provide skills for long-term recovery.
Our groups are appropriate for anyone struggling with having a healthy and harmonious relationship with food and eating, body image struggles, disordered eating, or an eating disorder.
CARA Group - Caregivers As Recovery Allies - is a new group for caregivers that will focus on providing information that is foundational to understanding eating disorders and helping caregivers build their recovery tool box by teaching specific, evidence based skills that have been shown to improve recovery outcomes. This group is appropriate for caregivers who are just beginning the eating disorder recovery journey with their loved one or those who have already attended other groups and who already have some skills, as they will still get the wonderful support of the group/community and it never hurts to keep learning when it comes to these skills! It is open to caregivers of children/loved ones of any age and anyone in Canada can attend; will be held virtually.
Family members and friends are welcome to join this group with and/or without their loved one who is struggling with an eating disorder.

It can be helpful for the person recovering to have family members and friends learn and practice with them the skills that can support long-term recovery.
This educational webinar is designed to provide key information regarding eating disorders that can be helpful for friends and family members to be aware of. Consider this an eating disorders 101 seminar. Sue will cover basic information you would want your family and friends to know about eating disorders, brain science and biology related to eating disorders, dispelling myths about eating disorders, how to help (what is and isn't helpful) and tangible ways to offer support to a family struggling with an eating disorder.
Held on the first Sunday of the month from 10:00am - 12:00pm online, via Zoom.

A support person is anyone who cares about and has a relationship with the individual struggling with an eating disorder / disordered eating.
Examples of support people include: parents, spouses, extended family members (grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.), friends, coaches, teachers etc.
